Vegetative Mulching / Hay Mulching is a great temporary Erosion Control application. It is also a very effective mulch and protective layer for Sprigging and Seeding Applications. Hay mulch is applied at a rate of 2.5 tons per acre. This provides a uniform blanket of 3-4 inches of hay.
